What Are The Top Dieting Mistakes
If you need to lose weight but you know you hate diets because you’ve done them all, let’s try a different approach. Let’s not go on a diet but just change the way we eat healthy. Let’s avoid the top dieting mistakes we all make.
A big reason we eat the way we eat is out of habit. It may be because of habits that we’ve had since we were children or it’s a habit we picked up as adults out of convenience. We came home from school and mom was there with the cookies. Just a few, we don’t want to spoil our dinner. This is when the top dieting mistakes started.

Now eat all your dinner or no dessert. Yes you may have a piece of cake before you go to bed. Does any of this sound familiar? That was me growing up.
And to get us to eat vegetables, it was slathered in butter or sour cream. Whatever it took to get us to eat those healthy vegetables. We even put butter on our steaks. And the salt on the fruits, don’t get me started.
All Grown Up
Then as an adult, you come home from work and do what? Open the fridge and grab that left over pizza from last night. It’s just as good cold the next day as it was hot last night. Now, I don’t have a problem with pizza. It could quite probably have the four basic food groups in each bite. But pizza has to be eaten in moderation. Use your freezer.
You know that pizza isn’t passing for dinner. It’s just something to get you through until dinner.
I’m sure if you make note of everything you eat each day, you’ll notice the things you eat out of habit and you can try and break those habits. Write down the things that can fall into your top dieting mistakes and ask yourself if it’s really necessary.

Now What?
What else aren’t we doing? Not drinking enough water. That 220 calorie drink tastes so much better. How many of those do you drink in a day? Or how about those high calorie coffee drinks in the morning? They’re just a pick-me-up and get-me-going day starter. This needs to stop.
What are other top dieting mistakes? Not enough, or worse yet, no exercise. The eating habits I developed while growing up wasn’t that big of a problem when I was young because I was athletic. Then, when the real world hit, the sports went out the window but the eating style didn’t. It was a way of life.
Everything in my life changed except my eating habits. Looking back I wonder why. But I guess that doesn’t matter. What matters now is to recognize your eating habits and try to change them.
This diet plan that I used is what worked well for me. Any diet plan can work. The reason we fail is because some diets restrict what we eat. With this plan, it changes the way we eat.
